Dr. Catrina was born and raised in northwest North Dakota. After graduating high school in 2009, she studied nursing and clinical lab science at Bismarck State College before moving to Davenport, Iowa to complete her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees in February 2017.
Dr. Catrina always knew she wanted to focus on pregnancy, including pre-conception and postpartum, and pediatrics. After learning about her mother’s pregnancy and labor experience, Dr. Catrina would make the connection between her own birth and the chronic health issues she has struggled with as an adult. It is her primary focus to educate soon-to-be mothers about chiropractic care during pregnancy and infancy and the ability to prevent children from developing common childhood disorders and chronic illness later in life.
Dr. Catrina lives in Williston with her husband and baby boy. They welcomed their first child, Carter, in May 2018. In her spare time, Dr. Catrina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, spending time at the lake, and living the farm life.
